It’s summertime here in Southern California and we’re lovin’ it! The skies are blue (never mind the lovely smog) … ocean water is warm … temperatures in the mid-90s (it’s a dry heat) … and our daylight is long. Awesome Grid-Style iPhone iOS 4 Wallpaper With An Obvious Twist [Download]

We search the Internet high and low (dodging those nasty malware-infected p0rn sites), trying to identify and present super cool wallpapers that have yet to be discovered by other websites … sort of like that Threadless t-shirt which proclaims, “I Listen To Bands That Don’t Even Exist Yet.”

Today’s selection takes us to the land of raw fish, anime and perverted vending machines … Japan. Circuit Board iPhone iOS 4 Wallpapers – Twice The Geeky Coolness [Download]

This time we explore our innermost electrical geek and turn our iPhone 4 into a primitive yet awesomely cool circuit board.

These home screen gems were created by Some Geek In Tennessee (seriously, that’s the name of the dude’s website … kinda of an oxymoron since we thought only hicks live in Tennessee – our bad) … and come in two delicious flavors – Vanilla and Kitchen Sink.

Also in 1986, Nintendo video games debuted in America to rave reviews. One of the original games available was “The Legend of Zelda”, in which the hero, Link, must rescue Zelda. This legendary fantasy role-playing video game can now be immortalized on your iPhone’s home screen thanks to Flickr user “supermako” … dude is a Zelda fanatic and it took him two hours to build this uber-cool wallpaper in Photoshop. Dig Dug iPhone iOS 4 Wallpaper [Download]

Retro-Games-App-store Similar to Apple’s recent introduction of the Retro Games section in the App Store, we’ve accidentally on purpose began our own old school collection … Retro Games iPhone 4 iOS 4 wallpaper. But unlike most retro iPhone games, our collection won’t cost you a dime because we’re sharing our vintage nuggets for FREE.

Our home screen wallpaper collection started with Pac-Man (we went a little nuts and collected 9 different versions) … then Ms. Pac-Man … next up was Donkey Kong … and now, the latest addition to our family, the classic arcade game published by Namco in 1982 – Dig Dug.
