Very true regarding the "Rate Upon Delete" feature. We've always questioned
the validity of such a rating since chances are if a user is deleting the
app they are unsatisfied and thus a greater propensity to rate the app one
star. Certainly seems to be skewing the results.

The rankings are based on downloads not the ratings. The Apple rating system has serious flaws including asking for a rating only when the user deletes the app -- very biased approach...

yup ... exactly the point ... if some crap is downloaded 1million
times, it does not equate to "good shit". ironic ... as if Apple has
been Punk'd again, Mirror Free is a joke app, yet Apple deems it "good
shit" and #1 ... jokes on Apple.

Hey, thanks for the visit and your sense of humor! Indeed Mirror Free is meant to be a joke ... yet rated #1 by Apple ... which should be the point of the matter.

Yeah ... seems very strange that an app's ranking is simply based on the number of downloads and/or reviews. Everyone would agree ... this is NOT the correct method and is the wrong incentive.

But hey, good for you guys ... if Apple ranked our app #1, WTF ... we'd take it.

LOL ... love the new description ... classic!!

I'm so glad you brought this up! I saw it up in the Top 25 the other day and thought, what the fuck is this goatshit, is Apple fucking kidding us here? Makes me disgusted.

there ought to be a class action lawsuit against Apple and a new alternative application store created for users demanding fairness in ratings, a more flexible and speedy approval system, as well as a flagging craigslist-style functionality to tag the applications that obviously sink below the threshold level of brainleak fucking dumb.
