Do Want: Plants vs. Zombies Toys

One of our favorite pastimes (besides scouring the fringes of the App Store in search of the krappiest apps) is collecting iPhone related items. Over the past few years, we’ve stockpiled all sorts of eclectic novelties … Pocket God figurines, Angry Birds plush toys, Steve Jobs dolls, No Tie Software t-shirts, Poop The World toilet paper and so much more.

And now, thanks to the keen eye of our friends at iPhone Savior, we’ll be adding some Plants vs. Zombies figurines to our ever-growing collection.

With ninja-like skills, Etsy member AllWithHand produced these handmade Plants vs. Zombies characters from polymer clay … and they simply rock!

There are fifteen figurines available at prices ranging from $152 for the complete set … to $80 for a set of six … or $18 per individual character. You’ll find all your favorite Plants vs. Zombies friends like Sun Flower, Pea Shooter, Thunder-shroom or that pain-in-the-ass to kill Football Zombie.

In exactly one week, the highly-anticipated and long-awaited Tron: Legacy science fiction movie will finally be released. This sequel to the 1982 film Tron has been receiving a ton of hype and buzz. Judging by its trailer, Tron: Legacy should be the epic blockbuster hit of the holiday season.

In anticipation of December 17, we decided to appropriately deck out our iPhone … Tron-style. Angry Birds – It Just Doesn’t Make Any Sense [Video]

With over a bajillion downloads, Angry Birds is all the rage these days (and makes plenty of cents). But did you ever stop and think what the hell is up with the objective of the game? Birds fly … but with a slingshot. Pigs protect eggs they stole from the birds … uh, why exactly do the pigs need eggs? So many Angry Birds questions – so little time … got to get back to 3-starring all the Angry Birds levels.

The $250 Brain Analyzer iPhone App

It never ceases to amaze us the shit Apple will approve. While they might come off as bad asses, trying to improve the quality of the App Store with statement like these …

We have over 250,000 apps in the App Store. We don’t need any more fart apps.

If your App looks like it was cobbled together in a few days, or you’re trying to get your ﬁrst practice App into the store to impress your friends, please brace yourself for rejection.

We have lots of serious developers who don’t want their quality Apps to be surrounded by amateur hour.

… Apple still has some serious issues saying no to “amateur hour” applications.

Take for example … Brain Analyzer. Bargain priced at $250, this application is wrong on so many levels.

With help from Google Translate (Engrish to English), it seems Brain Analyzer analyzes your brain (whoopee). But since the app is in “testing” … the developer is not quite sure if it will work. And Apple’s policy states, “Apps that are beta, demo, trial or test versions will be rejected.” Well, except for Brain Analyzer … Apple plays favorites with them.

"Don’t buy it” … ah yes, clever reverse psychology marketing term. Only to say, “you can buy it but we will not refund any money” … LMAO, WTF.

At $250, we’re not quite sure why Apple gifted us the privilege of purchasing this sack of suck … but at least we get a “thank you for your support” in advance.
